Posted by Chloe | March 20, 2019 | Wednesday Weekly

Happy Wednesday, makers! This is an extra special Wednesday for Helen’s Closet because today, we released the new, updated York Pinafore! You can read all the details in our blog post here. We are so excited to be making progress with our more inclusive size range.

We released the updated size range for the York Pinafore, now available in sizes 0-30.

Cocowa Crafts released the Maple Dress.

Sew and Tell debuted as a pattern company with 6 new patterns, including the Inspades Dress & Top.

In a Haystack also debuted recently- they are a digital sewing subscription service that sends a digital pack to your inbox each month. Each pack includes an independent PDF pattern, a fabric shop discount, and more. They are offering 20% off your first pack if you sign up in March.

There were three amazing York Pinafore hacks this week! Handmade Frenzy made this one in corduroy, Fa Sew La made this one in denim, and Cookin’ and Craftin’ made this one in a beautiful batik!

Looks Like I Made It sewed this bodysuit with luxurious bell sleeves that make me think of Stevie Nicks. So cool!

Mimi G Style is crushing the matching set trend with this incredible paisley print shirt and pants set.

Elle Gee Makes sewed this adorable mustard Perth Dress! The contrasting collar is such a fun detail.

Emma’s Atelier made this very chic Londres Trench. The bias binding on the inside of the coat is lovely.

Fifty Two Fancies sewed this cute Jily Top with a tie front.

Sew Slow Sarah made this gorgeous Suki Robe in a beautiful ikat print!

Coco’s Loft created this impeccable Zadie Jumpsuit.

Coral, Bunny and Lo shared some Blackwood Cardigan inspo, hacks and fabric ideas for #sewmystyle 2019!

What Katie Sews showed us how to add a ‘tummy stay’ using some cute Phillipa pants in stretch corduroy as an example. This is…genius.

Sewing Adventures in the Attick wants you to know that your overlocker can do more than finish seams.

Tilly and the Buttons has 10 tips for sewing rainwear fabrics.

Guthrie & Ghani wrote this guide to interfacing for dressmaking.
