It feels good to be back to the blog with the Wednesday Weekly today. I had a lovely vacation without internet (a blessing and a curse), so it was really fun to catch up on all the things that were made over the last couple weeks. I hope you all don’t have too much of the February blues, Spring is just around the corner, folks, hang in there!
Did you see Dixie DIY’s amazing 1880’s bustle dress costume?!? Seriously, it is super awesome.
I am missing the making of my Cascade Duffle Coat, and Amber’s version is making me want to sew another! I certainly don’t need two, but I love her pocket modification and that lining – win!
Melissa’s Oaxacan Wren dress is making me miss Mexico even more! Great fabric pairings on this one.
Don’t miss Cashmerette’s handmade sandals, they are very impressive.
This Archer/Alder mashup from Handmade Threads is really beautiful. Those two patterns were totally meant to be together.
I am literally drooling over Kelli’s Sydney jacket. I really want to make this pattern!
Novita’s Stretch skirts turned out great, I love that godet!
Two awesome makes of the Papercut Patterns Flutter Dress Pattern this week. Check out Andrea’s floral shirt and Beth’s gold dress.
Sara’s pink wool dress is soooo pretty, that color is stunning.
Learn to make cute little bow ties for friends and loved ones this Valentines! Great stashbuster from Grainline Studio
I was in awe of two editorials shared on Honestly WTF recently.
Check out Ulla Johnson’s Spring 2016 collection and this spread from Mochi.
